The wellness services at East Lake are designed to provide for the individualized needs of each patient. No two pets are created equal, and veterinary care is not one-size-fits-all. Our wellness services will meet your pet precisely where they happen to be at any given moment, whether it’s vaccinations and parasite prevention for your new puppy or kitten, an exam and diagnostic test to manage your adult cat or dog’s ongoing health, or specialized geriatric care to help your senior pet live a more comfortable life. Because companion animals age at a much faster rate than we do, it’s important that they receive a thorough checkup at least once a year. A typical wellness exam at East Lake includes an in-depth evaluation of your pet’s current health, including the eyes, ears, nose, mouth and skin, as well as a check of all of your pet’s major organ systems. Our doctors may also recommend a number of diagnostic tests to further evaluate your pet’s health. We’ll spend some time discussing your pet’s lifestyle and learning about their habits and behaviors.
